About StEARingAI
StEARing AI: A photovoice project takes an asset-based approach to visualize how generative artificial intelligence tools can be used to facilitate collaborative and community-engaged learning and supportive of accessibility needs of learners. The project uses students as partner (SaP) model to gather diverse viewpoints on ethical implications of using generative AI for learning and its impact on academic integrity matters. Supported by the StEAR Enhancement Fund (2024) Constellation Fund and the CIO, the multilayered project invites the UBC student community to promote equitable and diverse conversations on AI and academic integrity.
